    The Pebble Halo Ring uses motion sensors to track activity, so certain hand movements - like steering, biking, or using app gesture controls, may be interpreted as steps. This is standard across wearable devices. Our algorithms are designed to minimize such instances and are continuously refined to ensure accurate and reliable tracking.
    How can I use gesture controls on the Pebble Halo 2 Smart Ring?

    The Pebble Halo Smart Ring is designed for intuitive, hands-free control. Gesture navigation can be triggered in two convenient ways:
    1. Double Tap Finger to Activate Gestures
    By default, you can double tap the finger to enable gesture mode. Once activated, you can perform your assigned vertical or horizontal gestures depending on the mode selected (Short Video or E-Book Gesture).
    2. Motion-Based Gesture Activation
    In addition to tapping, the Pebble Halo also supports motion-triggered gestures. Simply move your hand upward or downward in a natural motion to scroll vertically—ideal for browsing through app menus, reading articles, or navigating content without touching the screen.

    To activate gesture controls on your Pebble Halo 2 Smart Ring, follow these simple steps:
    1. Open the Pebble Halo app on your smartphone.
    2. Navigate to the Home page.
    3. Tap on “Me” located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
    4. Find and toggle on the Gesture Control option.
    Once activated, you’ll have access to multiple gesture-based features, including:
    · Music Control – Play, pause, or skip tracks with a gesture.
    · Short Video Mode – Scroll through video feeds using vertical gestures.
    · E-Book Mode – Swipe horizontally to turn pages in reading apps.
    · Game Mode – Enhance your gameplay with motion-based interaction.
    What does the “E-Book Gesture” setting do?

    Enabling the E-Book Gesture switches the ring’s control mode to recognize horizontal swipe gestures. This is ideal for navigating left and right—perfect for flipping pages in e-books, browsing through image galleries, or navigating horizontally-scrolling menus. This gesture mode works seamlessly across the Pebble Ring app, your phone’s interface, and other horizontally-oriented apps.
    What happens when the “Short Video Gesture” is enabled?

    When you activate the Short Video Gesture, the ring recognizes vertical swipe gestures. These gestures allow you to effortlessly scroll up and down within the Pebble Ring app, your phone’s system menus, and other supported applications that use vertical navigation (such as short video platforms, e-commerce platforms and news feeds).
